This Week’s Market Forecast… 📊

Last week, the spotlight was on the November Jobs Report and Bitcoin’s unprecedented climb past $100k. The report revealed a stronger-than-expected increase of 227,000 jobs, surpassing forecasts of 220,000. Despite this, the unemployment rate ticked up slightly, from 4.1% to 4.2%.

Investors welcomed the robust job growth, fueling a market rally. By Friday, the market was up roughly 1%, closing at a record 6,090—the 57th all-time high this year, cementing a historic run.

Bitcoin stole headlines as it smashed through its resistance and achieved the long-anticipated $100k milestone. The announcement of pro-crypto advocate Paul Atkins as President Trump’s nominee for SEC chair further boosted momentum. At the same time, conversations around Bitcoin adoption by major U.S. companies like Microsoft and Amazon gained traction, adding to the crypto frenzy.

This week, attention shifts to inflation metrics, with CPI data arriving on Wednesday and PPI on Thursday. These reports will provide critical insights into the inflation landscape and shape expectations for economic trends.

With the Fed meeting just around the corner, this week’s inflation data will likely be the final input into rate policy decisions. A December rate cut seems almost certain, but a hotter-than-expected CPI or PPI could shift that outlook.

As earnings season winds down, only a few big names remain on the radar. Oracle and Costco are set to deliver updates, with Oracle reporting Monday after the close and Costco following on Thursday. Both companies have delivered outstanding performance this year, with Oracle shares up 84% and Costco climbing 52% year-to-date.

Have a Blessed Weekend!
